Earned Income Credit
Interactive forms and online federal income tax filing is available for free to
low-income Arkansans. We currently have are partnering with I-CAN! E-file to provide this service to
Arkansans.
I-CAN! E-file is a tax form and e-file program for low-income taxpayers. If you qualify, their website can
help you complete and file your federal tax return. If you are eligible for various tax credits, including a tax credit
called the Earned Income Tax Credit (EIC or EITC) your credits will be added to your return.
If you will receive a tax refund this year, you can e-file (file electronically) your return, and have your refund directly
deposited into your bank account. There is no charge to use I-CAN!™ E-File.
I-CAN!™ E-file will ask you simple questions and print your completed tax returns at the end of your session. If you are
eligible for the various tax credits we support, I-CAN! E-file will print tax credit application forms as well. Don't worry!
You don't need to know tax law or even fill out a tax form. Simply answer the questions on each page. If you don't have time
