2012 Champion of Justice Awards

Lynn Pence and Margaret Reger were each presented the Champion of Justice Award on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Representing Hope: New Paradigms for Access to Justice, the 2nd annual Access to Justice conference. The award was given in recognition of extraordinary service, excellence in the practice of law, and dedication to practicing law that champions equal access to justice for all.

Jason Duffy Named Marion County Volunteer Attorney of the Year

FAYETTEVILLE, May 1, 2010 - In observance of Law Day, May 1, 2010, Legal Aid of Arkansas announces that Jason Duffy of Yellville has been chosen Volunteer Attorney of the Year for Marion County. The award, given each by Legal Aid, a nonprofit corporation providing free legal services to low-income individuals, recognizes outstanding volunteerism and service to the residents of the county.

J. Michael Stephenson and Richard West named Crittenden County Volunteer Attorneys of the Year

FAYETTEVILLE, May 1, 2010 - In observance of Law Day, May 1, 2010, Legal Aid of Arkansas announces that J. Michael Stephenson and Richard West have been chosen co-recipients of the Volunteer Attorney of the Year for Crittenden County.  The award recognizes outstanding volunteerism and service to the residents of the county.  Stephenson donated over 60 hours and West over 42 hours of pro bono service to low-income clients during 2009.  Their donation has a value of $15,300 to the community.

Wade Williams Named Carroll County Volunteer Attorney of the Year

FAYETTEVILLE, May 1, 2010 - In observance of Law Day, May 1, 2010, Legal Aid of Arkansas announces that Wade Williams has been chosen Volunteer Attorney of the Year for Carroll County. The award, given each by Legal Aid, a nonprofit corporation providing free legal services to low-income individuals, recognizes outstanding volunteerism and service to the residents of the county.

William Z. White Named Cleburne County Volunteer Attorney of the Year

FAYETTEVILLE, May 1, 2010 - In 2009, William Z. White demonstrated his commitment to serving low-income clients by volunteering over 20 hours of pro bono service to these individuals.  On Law Day, May 1, he is being recognized as the Volunteer Attorney of the Year for Cleburne County. White's donation has a value of $3,000 to the community.
